I am really enjoying the game. I picked it up a few days ago and it is really fun. Something that throws me off is the quality of translation. It seems like its not even translated by a native speaker. Seeems to have a lot of Engrish you often see in chinese translation. There also just tons of spots where its not translated at all. Random buttons or achievements in korean I would assume.
I am not sure if the game has a team that can tweak the translation to make it feel more natural and fill in the holes but it defintely is jarring. Which I find surprising because Staff managing this forum seem to have pretty good English from what I seen. Seems like a weird contrast between the two.
Honestly though thats my only real complaint of the game so far. Maybe add some sort of forum guide. Most things are communicated well but it took a lot of trial and error to figure how spells work. I still have almost no idea how "Gear" works.

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately I haven't been saving examples up to this point. But I will be sure to save any examples going forward and post them into this thread. Easy one for me to pull up was google+ achievements so ill post those.

Example of poor translation: This image shows a very reaccuring trend in the translation. Everything is mostly accurate, but phrased in a way that a native speaker would never say. "Nature-made cave" "Nature-made place". No way would anyone ever describe a cave like that. You say a natural formed cave, or naturally formed place. It clear person who did translated was not a native speaker and didn't realize how awkward it comes across. It not really once sort of thing. Almost every other mission has some really awkward translation like this.

Here is a second example. This one isnt awkward in and of itself but it appears that way due to gross misspellings. The sentence is almost unreadable due to constant missing letters or extra letters that should not be there. I think this is the worst part of the translation of this game. Because its EVERYWHERE. Literally every other line of dialogue has a misspelling. I could literally come up with hundreds of examples of this, its that common. Also I noticed that the notification for the game is also still in korean. It ended up disappearing so I couldn't screenshot it. Honestly because it was 100% korean I had no idea what came it was for, only learning afterword since it launched Monster Avenue. I dont mean to sound petty or wanting to criticize the game just to criticize. I enjoy game a lot. And if the entire team is korean, I suppose some weird translations cant be helped. But figured I would point them out in case the team behind this game did want to clean up translation a bit.

Also at the beginning of the game when you want to accept the terms, the button shows "Acpect"... + several or many translations i can't really cover as there are just too many.

Also, Rune descriptions could use some more clarification. Not really sure what it means by that.. Should be rewritten as "Increases ATK by 75% and Mana Cost by 4"

Yuuup. There are still a few cards (like Lohengrin) that specify they get bonus effects if [mana is below 0], which is obviously not a possible game state. Or, if I hover over my Reginleiv, it says "Increase ATK 50% of each human type th," which is 1) incomplete and 2) inaccurate; Reginleiv HERSELF gets 50% bonus attack for each OTHER human-type in your hand, but that took trial and error to discover because the translation is sooo awful.

For these cards it means <= 0 so exactly 0. I agree it is poorly worded.

Just want to point out something that might want to be passed onto the folks running the game, a poor translation can cause a high "bounce" rate for a free game like this. People will load the game up, get confused by the ability descriptions, and move on to another game. (Just look at the high number of low level Vinea's in the friend invite list to see what I'm talking about.) And a game like this needs to catch the interest of as many people as it can so it can land a bunch of whales. The storyline translation isn't really an issue, but the ability descriptions absolutely need to be easily understandable or people will assume the game is a waste of money.
I'm just going to call out two big ones translation issues right now. There are quite a lot more, but that would take all night for me to go through them! First, the stat boost descriptions are backwards. For example: "Increase 100% of Max HP" makes more sense as "Increase Max HP by 100%" "Increase 80% ATK of wind type" should be "Increase ATK by 80% for wind type" It just reads better with the % increase after the stat name, the other way around constantly reminds people that this is a translated game. I'll bet that fixing this one issue will make the game look a lot cleaner and easier to understand.
The second issue isn't quite as apparent, but is a lot more annoying. Critical Attack descriptions in C. Skills are extremely confusing. At first glance, it looks like a straight damage boost. The description says, "Increase 30% ATK". It's only when you notice the red ability name above that reads, "Increase CRI" that you realize what it probably means. Most people will not read the name since they usually don't affect the game and are just cosmetic. Better to change it to match the description that's on the "Rune of Blade" runes: "Increase 30% ATK" should instead read "Increase 30% CRI rate" or better yet "Increase CRI rate by 30%"
Fix these, and you'll probably see less people bounce off the game as quickly. They might still quit, but they'll play longer before they do, giving them a chance to get hooked.
